It was recently reported that Vijayawada girl Priya Chowdary will be seen in '2 States', starring Adivi Sesh and Shivani Rajasekhar.  She is playing a character named Neetu. "We are glad the beautiful Priya is on board.  The Engineering student is very popular in Vijayawada and is also a former Miss Vijayawada," the makers said.

In her latest interview, Priya informs that hers is not a mere supporting role in the movie. She is Sesh's 'maradalu', has a song, and seems to have many scenes in this rom-com.  

At a time when Sri Reddy is batting hard for making the Telugu film industry more and more inclusive for Telugu girls, Priya playing the second female lead in a movie whose first female lead (Shivani) is also a Telugu is big.  Priya, who has no filmi background, must surely be Sri Reddy's delight.
