Smoking out a habit

These are politically correct times when you should not only do good but also be seen doing the right things.
It is a message that is not lost on Tamil actors.
A host of them and directors have bid bye to the habit of smoking now --- at least in public.
Chiyaan Vikram, known to be a chain smoker in the past, has stayed away from smoking these days.
He says "ever since Anniyan began, I started to pay more attention to maintaining my physique and understood the evils of smoking and hence kicked out the habit.
Going further ahead, he has urged his fans to follow him and stop smoking.
Elsewhere, the other bigger smoker on screen Rajnikanth too seems to have said 'no' to smoking.
In his forthcoming Chandramukhi, there is not a single scene where he is seen puffing.
Same is the case with Prakashraj.
Director Ezhil, who smokes almost a packet everyday, too has decided to stop having his drag.
It seems actors and directors are taking up good habits now and hope their fans too follow them.
