Actress Sneha has been on a long sabbatical ever since she became pregnant last year. The yesteryear onscreen diva gave birth to a baby boy in August 2015. Her husband, actor Prasanna has been taking good care of her these days. The couple recently celebrated the first birthday of their beloved son last week.

The news is that Sneha has decided to resume acting in films.

Sneha will be making a big bang reentry through a Malayalam film, which will have Megastar Mammootty in the lead. Sneha will be acting as his wife in this film to be directed by Haneef Adeni. She is being paired up with Mammotty after a gap of six years. They were last seen together in the Malayalam-Tamil bilingual 'Vande Maatharam'.

The shooting of the new film will begin by the end of this month and it is slated for release in early 2017. Since the actress is missed by many in Telugu, one hopes she will do veteran roles in big-ticket movies soon.
