Actress Sneha is on a long sabbatical as she has become a mother to a baby boy in August 2015. Her husband, actor Prasanna has been taking good care of her these days. The couple recently celebrated the first birthday of their precious son last week.

Now the good news is that Sneha has decided to resume acting in films.

Sneha will be making a big bang reentry through a Malayalam film, which will have Megastar Mammootty in the lead. Sneha will be acting as his wife in this film to be directed by Haneef Adeni.

With this the Punnagai Arasi will be pairing up with the Mammotty after a gap of six years. They were last seen together in the Malayalam-Tamil bilingual 'Vande Maatharam'.

The shooting of the new film will begin by the end of this month and it is slated for release in early 2017.
