Gemini Film Circuit has announced that the audio of Shankar's Snehithudu will be released on Jan. 19 at Shilpa Kalavedhika in Hyderabad. The music of the film, which is a remake of 3 Idiots, is by Harris Jayraj. Owing to the popularity of the musician, the audio is eagerly awaited in AP. After Aparichithudu, whose songs rollicked as much in Telugu as they did in Tamil, this is the second musical from Harris.

The film stars Vijay, Jiiva, Sriram and Illeana in the leads. Sathyaraj is reprising Boman Irani's role. While the story idea is derived from Rajkumar Hirani, the film is said to have its mark of Shankar. Cinematography is by Manoj Paramahamsa. Editing is by Antony. The film boasts of the Academy winner Rasool Pookutty as the Sound Editor.

Noted Bollywood choreographer Farah Khan has been chipped in here. She, and Shobhiraj, have choreographed the dances.

The audio is also awaited for the lyrics of Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry, Ramajogaiah Sastry and Vanamali.
