Software employee jailed after girl he dated complains

Rama Reddy, aged 29, is a software employee working for a reputed company in Bengaluru. He recently found a match on Tinder, the dating app. The duo talked for a month, went to eateries, became friends and had fun.
Recently, the guy invited the girl over to his place at HSR Layout. They consummated their relationship. Reddy thought that it should be a one-night stand, no strings attached. But the woman wanted more from the relationship.
After they made out together, the woman insisted that they should get married. But Reddy told her he doesn't believe in long-term relationships. She persisted. He blocked her number on WhatsApp, refused to take her calls, avoided her for days.
The woman gave him a shock one fine day when she approached the Whitefield police with a complaint. In her complaint, she wrote that she had been exploited for physical pleasure by a guy who had no intentions to marry her.
The police have arrested Reddy. A probe is on.
