The newly-appointed President of Andhra Pradesh State unit of the BJP, Somu Veerraju, on Friday called on Pawan Kalyan a day after meeting with Megastar Chiranjeevi. Veerraju and the Jana Sena chief exchanged pleasantries.

They are learned to have discussed political and development-related issues pertaining to AP. The 'three capital's issue, among others, also came in for a discussion. The issue of Amaravati farmers' disenchantment also was discussed by the two leaders. They made a resolve to make the alliance between the saffron party and JSP a strong force by 2024.

The saffron leader, who is an MLC, described Pawan as a friend in a tweet made after meeting with the 'Acharya' actor a day before.
