Sonakshi sees her stocks rising

During last three years, the only newcomers who were seeing a constant rise in the Bollywood numbers game were Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor. While the former had a rocking kick start with 'Om Shanti Om' and was seen in as many as five films last year, Sonam Kapoor didn't have such luck with 'Saawariya' but did gather herself well with 'I Hate Luv Storys' and 'Aisha'. Meanwhile Anushka Sharma too made her presence felt with a hat trick of successes. However there is some competition in store for the new ones with Sonakshi Sinha fast turning out to be a favourite with many a film maker.

Sonakshi is a 'bandh mutthi' which is waiting to open up, comments a trade source, With 'Dabangg' she showed what she was capable of. Though she didn't get much opportunity to showcase all facets of her acting talent, one can clearly sense that she is a potential waiting to be tapped.

No wonder, makers today have lot to pick and choose from rather than just the top trio of Kareena, Katrina and Priyanka or the new entrants like Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. This is the reason why Sonakshi is bagging projects left, right and centre. While she is currently shooting for 'Joker', she has also been finalised for 'Race 2'. In addition, she is also said to have signed another film with Akshay Kumar which would be a Sanjay Leela Bhansali production.

Wait for a lot more. This is just a beginning, comments a close associate.

Well, we are for sure!
