Bollywood beauties Sonakshi Sinha and Sonam Kapoor are at loggerheads because the buzz is that Salman Khan has discarded Sooraj Barjatya's choice of Sonakshi Sinha as his heroine in Rajshri Production's upcoming movie PREM RATAN DHAN PAAYO and instead suggested Sonam Kapoor.
As a result Sonakshi Sinha is accusing Sonam Kapoor of grabbing her role. The two actresses are at warheads and are avoiding each other at public events. The ball is set for another Bollywood catfight.
Briefing media a fuming Sonakshi Sinha lambasted, "It is ridiculous! How can Salman Khan replace me with Sonam Kapoor in the movie PREM RATAN DHAN PAAYO? I make a stunning chemistry with Salman Khan. The super duper success of DABANGG and DABANGG 2 is enough to prove."
However sources close to Rajshri Production claim that Salman Khan has taken the decision solely on his own as he wished to be paired with a fresh heroine. But the multi dollar question - Is Sonam Kapoor a fresh Heroine? Well that only Salman Khan can tell!
However though filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya may be putting the ounce upon Salman Khan for choosing Sonam Kapooor as his heroine but the fact is that Sonakshi Sinha was the original choice of filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya as he wished to bank on the success of Salman Khan - Sonakshi Sinha Jodi of DABANGG series.
Readers may wonder so what went wrong? Well an insider claims that when the planning for the heroine of the movie PREM RATAN DHAN PAAYO was being held and Sonakshi Sinha was almost finalized, Anil Kapoor, eminent actor and father of Sonam Kapoor interfered and urged Salman Khan to endorse her daughter Sonam Kapoor.
Salman Khan being a great pal of Anil Kapoor agreed. Readers may know that Salman Khan has a soft corner for Anil Kapoor. It may be recalled when Sonam Kapoor was introduced in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's SAAWARIYA (2007) Anil Kapoor had requested Salman Khan to do a cameo to add glitter to the movie and Sallu Bhai, being golden hearted had obliged!
