Sonam Kapoor's fees Rs.11 only!?!?!

  • IndiaGlitz, [Saturday,June 08 2013]

Call it friendship or good luck charm; but yes our pretty Sonam Kapoor said to have got very nominal fees for her forthcoming film ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’... Our birdies revealed that Sonam did the film only for Rs. 11...!

Apparently, Sonam took the amount as a token of shagun from director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Mehra is very fond of Sonam Kapoor and wanted her to be part of all his projects. Remember he made his dear Sonam popular as Masakali, in ‘Delhi-6’? So when he started working on ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ he insisted that she work with him on the film. In fact, he finds Sonam as one of the most talented actors of our time.

In ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ Sonam plays an important and special role, she plays the girl that inspires and turns the tide in Milkha Singh's life (played by Farhan Akhtar). She inspires him to leave petty stealing and join the army from where he becomes the greatest athlete of our time. Those who have seen glimpses of the film; say Sonam Kapoor and Farhan have the best chemistry ever seen. Their romance is so innocent and pure in the film that it touches your heart with simplicity.

‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ is slated to release on 12th July.
