Sonam Kapoor's 'Neerja' will hit theatres in February

Fashionsate star Sonam Kapoor is very pleased and happy over her success with 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' movie. Currently she is gearing up for her next that is - 'Neerja', which is a biopic of a 23-year-old girl. Sonam Kapoor would be playing the role of Neerja Bhanot, an airhostess who gave up her life trying to save the lives of hijacked passengers on PanAm flight in Karachi in 1986.
Neerja then became became the youngest recipient of India's highest civilian award for bravery, The Ashok Chakra while Pakistan also bestowed the prestigious Tamgha-e-Insaaniyat Award to her for showing incredible human kindness during the hijack. Sonam plays the lead role in this movie Neerja' that is produced by Fox Star Studios and Bling Unplugged. Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox Star Studios said, "Neerja is one of the unsung heroes of India whose story should be an inspiration for everyone... We will be releasing Neerja on Feb 19 for the people the world over to know and celebrate the story of a 23-year-old girl who found courage and self-sacrifice in an extraordinary moment in her life."
Talented actress Shabana Azmi will also be seen in the movie as Neerja's mother, this amazing script has been directed by ad film director Ram Madhvani. Fans be ready for the next year, it is going to bring you the best this February.
