Song Review: 'Akkada Vunnavadu' (SPYder)

If the song 'Akkada Vunnavadu' declares anything, it's the fact that the mission of our hero has a solid resonance with the endangered public in the film. You see a rustic lady (Geetha Madhuri's voice just fits the bill) singing hymns of such a saviour.
Ramajogayya Sastry was clearly asked to pen a hero-oriented song rooted in his character, if not the story. Thus, the efficient and inspiring team leader that the 'spyder man' is, he gets an unalloyed thumbs-up. Lines like 'Kondalu pindi chesela gunde nu gatti chestadu' seem sexy in the context of the story, we shall soon see.
Harris Jayaraj does give a tune with a heavy Kollywood-style nuance, but the genre is not alien to the Telugu audiences in any way. An enjoyable number for sure.
