Song Review: Kala Kala Kalamandir ('Inttelligent')

This song is about making marriage-related promises in graphic detail. What happens when two lovers make promises to each other about staying together for eternity in a VV Vinayak film? An item song is born, Bhaskarabhatla-style.

Nakash Aziz and Geetha Madhuri are stark in their vocals. Their voices brim with excitement and that sits well with the director's style of shooting numbers of this genre.

SS Thaman plays to his strengths here. If you were to listen to this song after curling up with those three recent melodies from him (one each in 'Tholi Prema', 'Gayatri' and 'Bhaagamathie'), this one feels like Thaman is reveling in his core competence.

'Inttelligent', starring Sai Dharam Tej and Lavanya Tripathi, will hit the screens on Feb 9.
