The COVID 19 pandemic has identified to the people several real-life heroes who are much greater than the reel life ones when it comes to helping fellow humans and the downtrodden. One star who has caught the imagination of the entire Indian nation is Sonu Sood better known for playing the villain in several south Indian movies including Vijayakanth's 'Kallazhagar',Vijay's 'Nenjinile', Simbu's 'Osthe' and Tamannaah's 'Devi'.

Sonu Sood has been helping lakhs of migrant labourers, giving out his hotel for the benefit of doctors and nurses and spending crores of rupees to help others in need. His latest philanthropic act is helping 93 Tamil students to get back home to Chennai from Moscow, Russia where they have been stranded for four months due to the coronavirus.

Sood organized a chartered flight for the benefit of the students who have been thanking the star no end for reuniting them with their loved ones. The man himself has stated " “This is the best role I have ever played. The best script done in my life. The ‘thank you’ notes from parents and the students is what motivates me.”.

One of the medical students Sakthipriyadarshini who reached Chennai said: “I have seen his Tamil and Hindi movies. I like his acting. I am not saying this just because he organized the chartered flight. But today he is the real hero for us, though he may be a villain actor.”

Sonu Sood will next be seen in Tamil in 'Thamilarasan' starring Vijay Antony, Remya Nambesan, Suresh Gopi, Pandiarajan and Yogi Babu.
