He has helped countless people by arranging transports, providing medical aid, arranging for oxygen cylinders etc. He has the done so much that people have even dubbed him the messiah. This is the reason why people started saying that Sonu Sood being Prime Minister of the country might put the nation in better situation. Actress Rakhi Sawant and comedian Vir Das has also advocated for the same. A Twitter user recently wrote, "@thevirdas for prime minister 2024.” In his reply, Vir Das wrote, “Wrong number. Dial Sonu Sood.”

Sonu Sood has recently reacted to such comments. When paparazzi gathered around his house, the actor served them cold drink and shared, "Hum aam insaan ache hain bhai, aam insaan better hain (I’m better off as a common man).” When asked whether he aspires to be a politician, Sonu said, "Bhai log khade hain na humare, kya karenge elections mein khade ho ke? Woh apna kaam nahin hai na (When my brothers are fighting elections, what will I do there? That’s not my work).”
