Sooraj Barjatya & Salman Khan's movie join hands with Fox Star Studios

The hugely anticipated Sooraj R Barjatya and Salman Khan’s combination venture, ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ has got an interesting development. The popular banner of tinsel town Rajshri Productions (P) Ltd has now got into partnership with premium production house, Fox Star Studios.

Quite elated over the collaboration, Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios, India, stated, Soorajji is one of those rare, gifted storytellers and with this partnership we have the extraordinary opportunity to combine the unique expertise of Rajshri Productions along with the worldwide marketing & distribution muscle of Fox Star Studios. Yet another complete family entertainer from Rajshri, the film is being helmed by Sooraj who will be directing Salman after 15 years and expectations from the project are set to soar. Said Sooraj, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is a very special project for all of us at Rajshri, as we are working with Salman after the successful films that we have done together. It is a very special feeling and I am humbled by his love for us.

Sonam Kapoor has been cast opposite Salman Khan. Himesh Reshammiya has been signed on as the music composer while Lyrics are by Irshad Kamil, Dialogues by Aash Karan Atal & Story and Screenplay by Sooraj R Barjatya. The Supporting Cast includes Neil Nitin Mukesh, Swara Bhaskar, Deepak Dobriyal, Anupam Kher and Others. The film will go on the floors next month.

‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ is set to release worldwide on Diwali 2015.

It happened so that the actress was shooting for her upcoming film 'Tevar', where a goon had to hold her wrist. Ironically the artist got so carried away with his act, that he held Sonakshi's hand quite tightly; resulting blood clot in her wrist. Poor Sona.
