'Soorarai Pottru' is an upcoming film loosely based on a true story directed by Sudha Kongara and jointly produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment and Sikhya Entertainment.  The film has music score by G.V. Prakash Kumar, cinematographed by Nikith Bommireddy and edited by Sathish Suriya.

Suirya plays the role of Maara based on private aviation pioneer G.R. Gopinath in 'Soorarai Pottru' with Aparna Balamurali as his love interest.  Mohan Babu, Jackie Shroff. Paresh Rawal, Vivek Prasanna, Kaali Venkat, Karunaas, Sampath Raj and Urvashi.  The much-anticipated movie is expected to release on April 14th 2020
