Soori's next movie writer Vettri Veeran Mahalingam makes a hot announcement

The trailer of Vetrimaaran's 'Viduthalai 1' released a few days back has caused a huge sensation in the Indian film industry. Fans are particularly lauding Soori's effort in the action scenes in his first ever film as a hero after playing comedy roles for several years.
It is well known that Soori's next film as hero is director Ram's 'Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai' in which he is costarring with Nivin Pauly and Anjali. He is also playing the lead in 'Kottukkaali' produced by Sivakarthikeyan in which Anna Ben is the heroine. After these three films Soori has also signed a new movie to be directed by Vikram Sukumaran of 'Madha Yaanai Koottam' fame produced by Disney Plus Hotstar'.
The as yet untitled period film is based on the street performers of Madurai and is written by Vettri Veeran Mahalingam who has earlier directed by Arumbu Meesai Kurumbu Paarvai', 'Vennila Veedu' and 'Visiri'. It is worth mentioning that Soori and Vettri Veeran Mahalingam are childhood friends who came to Chennai together to try their luck in Tamil cinema.
Vettri Veeran Mahalingam is currently directing a new movie in which Madhan of 'Aruvi', 'Thunivu' and 'Ayali' fame is playing the lead role. He has stated that the subject is based on a true story that happenned in his office building in Saligramam a couple of years back. The entire filming of this Sakunthala Talkies and Mahalingam Productions venture is in a urban setting and will be wrapped up quickly within twenty days. The title and the rest of the cast and crew announcement is expected in a few days.
