We already brought to you the news that popular actor Soori's niece got married in Madurai on September 9th and celebrities including Sivakarthikeyan and Pugazh attended the function. The family was shocked when ten sovereigns of jewels kept in the bride's room went missing. Since only close family members were invited to the event Soori and the others were hesitant to lodge a police complaint.

However, after much deliberation on Monday, they took the issue to the Keeraithurai police station and investigations started. Within twenty-four hours of the complaint, the cops nabbed one Vignesh hailing from Paramakudi and confiscated the two lakhs worth of jewels from him. Further action against him has been initiated.
