'Soorpanagai' is an upcoming historical mystery film starring Regina Cassandra and Akshara Gowda in the lead roles. The Tamil-Telugu bilingual movie is written and directed by Caarthick Raju. It has music by Sam CS, cinematography by Gokul Benoy and editing by Sabu Joseph.

The plot of the film is set in two time periods, modern and 1920s. Regina Cassandra plays an archaeologist in the current time and Akshara Gowda portrays a girl belonging to a landowners' family of the past. Soorpanagai also stars Yogi Babu, Jayaprakash, Mansoor Ali Khan, and others.
