Sorry for not attending 'Memu Saitam' : Rajinikanth

Rajinikanth was expected to grace Tollywood's telethon event, 'Memu Saitam', a few days back. But he didn't attend it.

About why he didn't attend the event, Rajinikanth said, " The devastation caused by Hudhud cyclone is really unfortunate. I should have attended the event held by Tollywood industry to raise funds. But I couldn't do it as I have to attend two important marriages. I say sorry for the Telugu people for not attending it. As soon as I reach Chennai, I will send my donation".
