Here is the latest update on SP Balasubrahmanyam's health. A bulletin issued by MGM Healthcare, Chennai, says that the legendary singer continues to be on life support in ICU. He remains stable and the doctors are closely monitoring his clinical parameters.
SPB's son, singer SP Charan, has issued an audio message, saying that the doctors are happy with the response to treatment. Everyone has been calling me. People are having a lot of questions. Dad is doing good. Putting him on ventilation is helping him. He is showing signs of recovery. Doctors are very happy. We hope he will be out of this crisis. He will be on a path to recover quickly enough. Thank you all for your prayers. Keep them going, Charan said.
The singer was diagnosed with Covid-19 earlier this month. From Maestro Ilaiyaraaja to AR Rahman and a host of other celebrities across the country have prayed for SPB's quick recovery.
