Director S P. Jananathan is a happy man these days. After his successful Diwali release ‘Peranmai’ with ‘Jayam’ Ravi in the lead, the director is enjoying rave reviews for his concept.

We hear news about the director taking the love tale of the commoners who lived thousand years back for his next. On the other hand the director is making headlines about his Norway trip. Sources in the know had it that Jananathan will fly to Norway soon to attend the Norway Film Festival as a chief guest. Moreover, his ‘Peranmai’ is also selected for the film festival.

The director attended the Tharamani Film Fest on 9th December, 2009 in which ‘Peranmai’ was screened and also participated in the discussion session that followed.
