Ilayaraja rushed to Thirvannamalai to conduct special pooja for SPB

Legendary singer SPB's death on September 25th has not only left millions of fans in deep grief but also his old friends in the film industry who have been devastated. Ilayaraja who has been a close friend and frequent collaborator with SPB for the past five decades could not even deliver a tribute speech and stated that he felt the world has become empty and no words are coming out his mouth.
Ilayayaraj rushed to Thiruvannamalai on Sunday to light the Motcha Deepam (Heavenly divine light) for his buddy S. P. Balasubrahmanyam. The ritual is conducted to enable the soul of the departed person to rest in peace.
Those who caught a glimpse of the Isaigniani have shared on social media that he looked absolutely depressed and in deep pain and could not control his tears as he said his final goodbye to his friend in the Thiruvannamalai temple.
