SPB want next birth in Karnataka

The super play back singer (SPB) Guinness record holder for singing more than 40000 songs in his career in various languages at the age of 71 turned emotional for the love and affection shown by the people of Karnataka.

My second song was in Kannada in 1966 and till now it has been tons of love and affection from people of Karnataka. ‘In case there is next birth, I want it to happen in Karnataka’ says the stalwart signer Dr SPB. The singer is aged but not for singing. The quantum of love and admiration never dropped is the satisfaction of this agile singer of this sub continent.

I am singing since 52 years and listeners have given love. In return what can I give you, Dr SPB question to him at Hubballi. This is the land known for Hindustani music with legendaries like Gangubai Hanagal, Mallikarjuna Mansoor, Gavai and others lived in this land. Singing here is my ‘Punya’ said Dr SPB.

Addressing the huge gathering Dr SPB said the composers are responsible for success of any song. For giving programs at this age I do rehearsal at studio and also while traveling in the car. I have feat when I come on stage. We take many chances in completing in one song. When we come on stage it should match to that perfection – that is the fear stated humble to the core singer Dr SPB. He did not forget to tell that he lived in ‘Suvarna Yuga’ of cinema singing.
