Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer storms the internet - confirms the leaks to be true!

Spider-Man: No Way Home is the third film of the web-slinger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The threequel is currently the most-anticipated movie in the world that surpassed the inception of Avengers: Endgame. No Way Home gained sky-high anticipation as it was rumoured to have the veteran Spider-Man movie stars Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield on board. The film is slated to release on December 17.

Tom Holland, who plays the titular role, confirmed that No Way Home will feature the "multiverse" concept that is the key element of MCU's phase 4. The first trailer of the film hinted at the return of supervillains from the Sam Raimi universe and The Amazing Spider-Man universe. Then, the studio revealed images and posters confirming the sinister six. Spider-Man: No Way Home is releasing in English, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.

Now, Sony & Marvel have dropped the second trailer of Spider-Man: No Way Home. This time the makers have taken the liberty of revealing more about the multiverse to the fans. The video was released at a special event hosted in Los Angeles in the presence of Tom Holland and debuted online at the same time. The new trailer gave a wide look at the possible sinister six: Doctor Octopus, Electro, Lizard, Sandman, Green Goblin and Hop Goblin which is new to the cinematic universe.

The plot follows Peter Parker, whose secret identity (Spider-Man) has been leaked to the world by Mysterio, trying to change it back with the help of another avenger Doctor Strange. The spell goes wrong and spidey gets supervillains from the other universes as visitors. While the fans highly expected Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, who played the friendly neighbourhood superhero in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man and Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man, the trailer had no glimpse of them.

But the featurette left traces of Tobey and Andrew's presence in the movie. The locations in the trailer matched with the leaked photos from the film that featured Tom, Tobey and Andrew. Also, the fans believe that the studios have edited out the other two spidermen in the trailer's ending shot. The netizens came up with a lot of fan theories that confirmed the same. Venom 2’s post-credit scene hinted that Venom will hunt for Tom Holland Spider-man in the upcoming instalments of MCU.

According to one fan theory, a multiverse breach happens before the climactic moments caused by Sylvie messing up the sacred timeline in the Loki series. The breach leads to the entry of Tobey & Andrew's Spider-man coming to the NWH universe and supporting Tom Holland in the ultimate showdown against the sinister six. Another leak has confirmed that Charlie Cox will appear as Matt Murdock and Peter's lawyer in No Way Home. Matt Murdock is the alias of Marvel's other superhero character 'Daredevil' and a soft reboot of the Daredevil series is on cards.
