'Spyder' box office performance

‘Mahesh Babu’s ‘Spyder’ directed by A.R Murugadoss released during the Pooja holidays and gained mixed reviews. However, as there hasn’t been any releases in the past two weeks, the film has gotten considerable leeway in reaping profits.

Last weekened in Chennai, the film was screened in 17 theatres with a total of 139 shows earning Rs.21,64,920. Further, the film has accumulated Rs.3,66,47,312 in profits during September 27 and October 15, while the combined profits of both the Tamil and the Telegu versions stand at Rs.4,54,44,369.

It is also notable that the film has garnered about 26 crores in 19 days with 4.5 crore in Chennai, 8.35 crore in Chengalpattu and 5.2 crores in Coimbatore areas.
