Popular actress replaces Sridevi

Legendary actress Sridevi’s demise brought shock and grief to the people of the nation. The last rites for the actress was conducted with state honours with fans worldwide mourning her death.

However, a film in which Sridevi was acting is currently halted midway. In light of this, the film’s team had sought leading Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit to essay the role in the remaining portions and reportedly Madhuri has accepted the offer as well. Following this, Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor has expressed her gratitude to Madhuri Dixit.

“Abhishek Varman’s next film was very close to mom’s heart ...Dad, Khushi and I are thankful to Madhuriji for now being a part of this beautiful film...,” Janhvi stated in her social page.
