Srikanth is a busy bee

'Poo' is one widely acclaimed movie of recent times in which Srikanth played a rustic demeanor. His role was admired by his fans and critics alike. It was a change from his usual romantic portrayal.
On his forthcoming releases, he said, ' I have a lot of films lined up for release in 2009. There is a multi-cast film with actor Jeeva called 'Throgi'; 'Indira Vizha', 'Rasikum Seemane', a commercial entertainer; 'Manavar Thinam', a project that I am looking forward to and 'Nanchil Aiyntham Thisai', an action flick which will be out next year'.
On his role in 'Poo', he said, 'playing Thangarasu was a challenging one. I had to change my look from the metro to rural. I had to blend with the nativity of Rajapalayam. The consoling factor was Sasi didn't want me to learn the local language as he felt the character was caught amidst his dreams and love. I had to workout to get the village macho guy look'.
