Srimanthudu is based on Mahesh's real life experience?

When Mahesh Babu said, “I'll adopt your whole village including you guys” in the teaser of his forthcoming film Srimanthudu, it raised several eyebrows that the film might be based on the actor's real life experience.
Remember, a few months back, there were reports that Mahesh would adopt a Burripalem, a village in Guntur district and address several civic issues. And the superstar's dialogue from the trailer has striking similarities with what the actor had planned to do in real life.
The family drama is about a rich businessman in quest of something he's missing. So it would be interesting to see whether the plot of the film is the same or not.
