Srimanthudu is a family drama starring Mahesh Babu and Shruti Haasan. The film is directed by Koratala Siva and has music by Devi Sri Prasad.  Mahesh plays Harsha, a filthy rich NRI and son of Jagapathi Babu, and the film is based on the story of a village adopted by Mahesh. The plot is inspired from Mahesh's real life plan to adopt his native village - Burripalem.

Mahesh will be sporting seven looks in the film including that of a corporate look, rich businessman, college goer, etc. The film that also stars Rahul Ravindran is produced by with Y Naveen, Y Ravi Shankar and CV Mohan. Srimanthudu also marks the debut of Mahesh Babu as a producer.
