SRK caught in sex determination issue

News had been abuzz about B-town’s Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri becoming parents for third time by having child through surrogacy, but things seem to have got sour when Indian Radiological and Imaging Associations (IRIA) heard that the celebrity couple will have a male baby.

It is reported that IRIA questioned the officials of State Health Department through an email as to how Shah Rukh came to know about the baby’s sex when sex determination is illegal in India. Owing to improper sex ratio, the state health department have been keeping strict vigilance over radiologists for allegedly conducting illegal sex determination.

IRIA has instructed the officials to hold a thorough investigation and take action against those concerned.

If news reports are true then it is a clear that the celebrities can get away with breaking the law, said Dr Jignesh Thakkar, coordinator for the Pre-Conception Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT) Act, IRIA. However doctors claim that PCPNDT Act is not applicable if the sex determination was done outside the country.

Ohh no; trouble for SRK even before the baby’s is born?!?!
