SS Rajamauli expresses happiness over Bhansali's decision

Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's long awaited film 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' has been postponed by a month and a half. This Alia Bhatt starrer gangster drama was supposed to hit the theatres on 6th of January but the release has now been shifted to 18th of February. While this may be disappointing for fans of Alia and Bhansali, the decision has been welcomed by ace filmmaker SS Rajamauli.
Apparently, Rajamauli's passion project 'RRR' is going to release on 7th of January and it was bound to clash with 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'. Clashing of films is usually no big deal but the fact that Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgan have significant roles in the both the movies made things problematic. Although it was looking like the clash was inevitable, producer Jayantilal Gada convinced Bhansali to move the release date.
Elated by this decision, 'RRR' director Rajamauli tweeted, The decision by Mr. @JayantilalGada and Mr. #SanjayLeelaBhansali to move the release date is well appreciated. Our heartfelt wishes to #GangubaiKathiawadi..:)
