SS Rajamouli Embroiled In Unexpected Controversy

Director S.S. Rajamouli, who is currently gearing up for his much-anticipated project SSMB29 with Mahesh Babu, has unexpectedly been embroiled in a controversy. Uppalapati Srinivasa Rao, who claims to be Rajamouli’s longtime friend and the executive producer of Yamadonga, has made shocking allegations against the director.  

In a letter addressed to the Mettuguda police, Srinivasa Rao stated that he had known Rajamouli since 1990 and accused him of ruining his life and pushing him to despair. He alleged that a triangular love story was at the root of their fallout, even going as far as blaming Rajamouli for his continued bachelorhood at 55. He also accused the filmmaker of harassment but admitted that he had no concrete proof to support his claims.

Rajamouli, known for his impeccable filmmaking skills and humility, has largely avoided controversies throughout his illustrious career. Given his reputation, these allegations have come as a shock to both the industry and his fans. As of now, neither Rajamouli nor his team has responded to the accusations.

SSMB29 is an African adventure drama, produced by Durga Arts banner. Priyanka Chopra plays the female lead in the film.
