Breaking! The release of SS Rajamouli's RRR pushed once again - Official News

Previously, SS Rajamouli's much-anticipated film 'RRR', starring Jr NTR, Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt in lead roles was slated to be released on January 7, 2022. Now, the breaking news is that the theatrical release of the magnum opus movie is indefinitely postponed due to the omicron spread.

Last week, the makers of RRR denied the speculations regarding the delay in release. The team has conducted massive promotional events in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram but the story has taken a bitter ending. The official Twitter page of the RRR movie has confirmed the indefinite postponement of the grandeur film.

RRR Twitter page wrote, "Inspite of our relentless efforts, some situations are beyond our control. As many Indian states are closing theatres, we are left with no choice but to ask you to hold on to your excitement. We promised to bring back The Glory of Indian Cinema, and at the right time, WE WILL. Keeping the best interests of all the involved parties in mind, we are forced to postpone our film. Our sincere thanks to all the fans and audience for their unconditional love. (sic)"

Meanwhile, Prabhas' pan-world film 'Radhe Shyam' and Ajith Kumar's most-awaited movie 'Valimai' reconfirmed that they will release as planned on January 14 and 13 respectively. These two ventures are now sure to get tentpole prime showcasing, better terms and almost all screens this Pongal.
