As we had reported earlier, Thala Ajith's blockbuster 'Vedalam' will be remade in Telugu with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan reprising the lead role. AM Ratnam who produced 'Vedalam' will be bankrolling the remake as well. The director of the remake will be RT Neason who has directed Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Tamil super hit 'Jilla' and also a long time friend of Siva the director of Ajith's 'Veeram' and 'Vedalam'.
While young music sensation Anirudh Ravichander scored the music for 'Vedalam' the remake will have the music of another young music talent who is much sought after in Tollywood.
Yes, promising music director SS Thaman has confirmed that he will do the musical score for the Telugu remake of the film.
Anirudh delivered chartbuster songs and the super Theri theme for 'Vedalam' and we can be confident of Thaman doing the same for its remake.
