'Star Trek' actress dies suddenly due to unknown reason

Stephanie Niznik is known for her roles in 'Star Trek' movies, and “Nash Bridges, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, Grey's Anatomy, and Diagnosis Murder. on Television. It has been announced that the 54-year-old died suddenly on June 23rd with the reason for death not revealed.
Stephanie Niznik never married and is survived by her stepfather, brother, sister in law, nieces and nephews with whom she was very close. Her constant companions were her dogs Nucleus and Jake. Tributes have started pouring in from Hollywood celebrities. “We recently lost the mother of our tribe, Stephanie Niznik. Stephanie played Nina, the next door neighbor to Andy Brown, and the woman who helped raise his children as he struggled with being a single father. She continued that role offscreen by being an incredible friend, a nurturing mother figure to our younger cast members and an artist who brought warmth, compassion and humor to every episode and our set.
