Mohanlal and Meera Jasmine bagged the top honours in the prestigious Kerala state awards that was announced here today.

Mohanlal bagged the awards for his poignant performance in the movie 'Paradesy' while Meera Jasmine was honored for her performance in 'Ore Kadal'.

The award for the best movie went to 'Adayalangal' directed by M G sasi while 'Ore Kadal' bagged the awards for the second best film. The award was announced by State Cultural Minister M A Baby at the capital city.
