It's a shocking child rape and death incident that allegedly was conspired by the victim's step-mother. It has happened in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district, where five people have been arrested in connection with the rape and inhuman murder of a 9-year-old girl. Among the arrested are the girl's step-mother and step-brother.

After his daughter went missing on August 23, the victim's father lodged a police complaint. The police launched a search operation to trace the girl, only to find that she was murdered and her body thrown out in a forest area. A special investigation team (SIT) is looking into the case.

As per the police, the child's rape and murder happened in a "bone-chilling and horrible" manner. The step-mother never liked her husband's second wife and her children. The woman wanted to kill the step-daughter only because her husband would always spend time with the kid!

What's more mind-numbing is that this woman involved her 14-year-old son and his friends in the crime.
