Inside pics: Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan's daughter enters wedlock

On Monday, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's daughter Veena Thayikkandiyil got married to P A Mohammed Riyas, the president of the CPI-M youth wing, Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), at a low key ceremony in Thiruvananthapuram.
Registered under the Special Marriage Act, the simple wedding function was held at the CM’s official residence, Cliff House, with close friends and family as attendees. This is for the first time a marriage is taking place at the Cliff House.
Veena is the elder daughter of Pinarayi Vijayan and Kamala Vijayan. She is an IT entrepreneur based in Bengaluru. Riyas, who hails from Kozhikode, is a prominent face of CPM on TV debates. He is also a member of the CPI(M) state committee.
This is the second marriage of both 43-year-old Riyas and Veena. Riyas' first marriage took place in 2002 and he got a divorce in 2015. He has two kids. Veena, who is also a divorcee has a child from the first wedding.
