It's known that the Board of Intermediate Education is in a soup over the recently-announced Intermediate results. Several candidates have alleged glitches in their results. Hundreds of students, their parents, and several educational institutions have been anxious over the gaffes in the results.

Congress leader Revanth Reddy today staged a sit-out at the BIE building in Hyderabad. He demanded that the Education Minister should take full responsibility for the negligence. He also said that Chief Minister KCR is answerable.

Following the dharna by him and other Congress leaders, they were detained by the police.

Also detained were several ABVP student union leaders who raised slogans at the BIE building.
