STR sings for Chennai

Only recently STR aka Simbu came out with an anthem for love, which made waves on the world wide web. The latest from the multifaceted personality is an anthem for the city of Chennai.
He has crooned for the film 'Madhil Mel Poonai', which has Vijay Vasanth of 'Mankatha' and 'Nadodigal' fame in the lead role. It was released by director Venkat Prabhu recently.
According to the film's publicist, the Chennai Anthem song has crossed the one lakh view count in two days.
The song, it is said, has captured well the spirit of Chennai and Chennaiiites. The trailer of 'Madhil Mel Poonai' was launched recently director Rajesh, it may be recalled.
