Stunning lass as Varun Tej's heroine?

Like his cousin Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej struck gold in 2015. His popularity grew by many times after Krish's 'Kanche' and Puri Jagannadh's 'Loafer' happened. With his stature growing, he is touted to be the next star to be watched out for.

Director Gopichand Malineni lost no time in planning a mass entertainer with him. The film is currently in pre-production stage.

Informed sources tell us that Gopichand is keen on roping in the stunning lass Rakul Preet Singh for the role of female lead. It is said that the director was impressed with the performance of Rakul in his last directorial with her, 'Pandaga Chesko'.

If Rakul is okayed, Varun will have been paired with one of the most sought-after heroes for the first time ever.
