Lagadapati Sridhar who proved to be a successful producer with yvadigola Vadidey is coming up with another hot project Style. The film features the hit combination of Lawrence (Mass), Prabhudeva (NVNV) and Raja (Anand).
This breezy musical ---- one of the rare ones in Telugu --- is directed by Lawrence.
To have two sensational dance masters turned directors in the lead is unique. And that is why the film is under the spotlight.
Lawrence, who showed that he has a way with mass entertainment through Mass, says that Style is about determination. Lawrence in fact has suggested that the film's story has shades of his own struggles in real life.
Lawrence is also highly appreciative of the fact that Prabhudeva accepted to act with him. Lawrence says the film's screenplay and musical would be the highlight of the film.
For Raja, the third of the heroes, this is one of his first real attempt at mass movie. He has so far seen only in urban-centric movies. This should be a good outing for him.
Charmi is also highly thrilled about acting in such a combination.
Mani Sharma's music has the right feel to it. The songs have a good rhythm (with two splendid dancers in the team) they have to.
Kabir Lal, the cameraman, was said to be highly impressed with the story that he readily agreed to work in the movie.
Lagadapathi Sridhar is also aggressively promoting the film. He says Style, like other musicals SankaraBharanam and Sagara Sangamam would do extremely well.
This film has urban backdrop with 95 percent of it being shot in Hyderabad.
The movie is set for January release.
