Sudheer Babu to MLA: Women should spit on you

T Raja Singh, the BJP MLA of Goshamal, Hyderabad, has been in the news for the wrong reasons. Recently, he openly said that theatres playing 'Padmavati' will be burnt down! "If the movie is released and shown to be against (Rani) Padmavati, then we will put those theatres on fire. What will happen we will see later," he warned.
And in his latest interview to a TV channel, the MLA has made some remarks that are "disrespectful" towards women. Sudheer Babu has reacted rather violently on Twitter. "Raja Singh, shame on you. That's the image you have of women. Women in your house should spit on you," the actor has said in an angry post.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, his film with Indraganti Mohankrishna and Sivalenka Krishna Prasad was launched. A love story, it will hit the screens in April. The shoot will begin in the second week of December.
