Actor Raja attempts suicide

Actor Raja, the Inkosari star, made a suicide bid yesterday. He reportedly consumed several sleeping pills, but was saved, after he was rushed to the hospital. Understandably depressed that his latest film has not seen wide theatrical release in the state, he made the bid.

The films have been declared box office successes, with Adhurs emerging as the bigger winner between them. The film has crossed 50 days in 155 centres around the state.
