The audio launch of Rajini’s Petta recently happened in Chennai. Vijay Sethupathi was running late for the event, and as he arrived, the whole crowd, including Kalanithi Maran and the Superstar himself, stood up to welcome him.

The reason for his late arrival has just been revealed. Right before the event, Vijay Sethupathi had apparently been shooting for his movie in Hogenakkal, and Sun Pictures had arranged a private jet for his arrival at Chennai for the audio launch.

A picture of the jet’s pilot standing by Vijay Sethupathi’s side has been going viral on social media. Sun Pictures had apparently offered the gesture in order to make sure the actor didn’t miss the event at any cost.
