Dhanush starrer 'Padikathavan' has been acquired by Sun Pictures. The movie stars Dhanush and Tamanna in the lead roles.

Sun Pictures, an arm of Sun TV Network, is interestingly producing Rajinikanth – Shankar's 'Endhiran'. Now after the father-in-law's film, they have now acquired the son-in-law's flick.

'Padikathavan' has been shot in an impressive manner. The crew had shot a couple of songs abroad.

Sun Pictures had been associated with films like 'Kadhalil Vizhunthen', 'Dindigul Sarathy' and 'Thenavattu' in the recent past.

Expectations are high on the movie as Dhanush's last ventures 'Yaradi Nee Mohini' and 'Polladhavan' were big hits.
