Sundar Pichai was anointed the CEO of Google's parent company Alphabet by founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin on December 4th who both stepped down to remain as board member alone. The Chennai born Sundar who turned down millions of money in stock from the management in 2018 telling them that he was already generously paid has made the company richer by a huge amount.

Within a single day of Sundar Pichai taking over as the head of Alphabet the company's stock value soared to 1295 dollars per share which translates to a massive 14 thousand crores in Indian rupees. The global business community is confident that the 47-year-old would take his company to even greater heights with his eye on Artificial Intelligence as the future.
