Actor Sundeep Kishan has been a well known actor in Telugu and in Tamil, he has acted in several movies like Yaaruda Mahesh, Mayavan and Maanagaram, and Maanagaram proved to be a successful venture for him. Currently the actor is awaiting the release of his next Tamil movie Kannaadi.

Kannadi is a Tamil - Telugu bilingual directed by Caarthick Raju who had earlier made Thirudan Police and Ulkuthu with Attakathi Dinesh, and this movie was supposed to release on July 12, but the release was postponed and only the Telugu version Ninnu Veedani Needanu Nene released.

The Telugu version has opened to good reviews, and the Hindi remake rights of the movie have been sold as well. Now it has been said that Kannaadi will be releasing on July 26. An official announcement on the same is expected soon. Kannaadi also stars Anya Singh and Karunakaran.
